SARA GROUND is the SARA platform module developed to monitor and manage ground aircraft movements.

Combined with a specific consultancy activity, SARA GROUND makes it possible to evaluate the current situation of the airport and to identify best practices, specifically defined for each airport, aimed at reducing the impact of aircraft ground movements on the total emissions of the infrastructure.

Based on ADS-B technology, the GROUND module analyzes aircraft movements within specific survey areas, obtaining statistics, graphs and reports that can be exported in the most common formats that contribute to optimizing processes in the field of:

• Technical-operational: the information relating to ground handling constitutes the basis of analysis for each optimization process, with the main advantages associated with the APMS (Airport Pavement Management System)
• Safety: flight tracking data is essential for the investigation of serious or minor incidents that may occur inside and outside the airport grounds
• Environment: the phases of taxiing on the ground, engine testing, take-off and landing also contribute significantly to the total polluting emissions of the airport infrastructure.
